Special Education Needs & Disability (SEND)

We recognise that all children are unique and special and that some children have more needs than others. Providing the necessary help and support for any children with additional needs and their families is something that is extremely important to us.

We have two Special Needs co-ordinators within the setting who work with staff, Parents and specialist outside agencies to ensure everyone gets the support they need. Needs are firstly identified then we will invite Parents in to have a chat and put some strategies in place for support. This will then be reviewed, and if necessary childhood specialist teachers will work with nursery and the family to provide more support. We know that this can be very difficult for the family in lots of ways, and we are here as a listening friendly ear for all the Family.
